Hey everyone, I like to cut my unisex tees into crops, I have been doing this for as long as I can remember and even when I don't cut them into crops I tend to like to trim the end to make the shirt a little shorter... as I am short. I think this usually works best when you get your tee at least one size bigger than you usually would, BUT, you can totally do it with any size.
I asked Kim Der to show us just how easy this is and I took a couple snaps so you could follow along. Kim makes incredible bags and she has an amazing thrashed clothing line. You can check it out here.
We used a size large tee and did the one piece that was longer in the centre so you could grab as little or as much tee from the sides as you wish.
The best part is your lines do not have to be perfect because once you throw these tees in the wash with a raw hem the bottom rolls up and hides any imperfections.
